Our mission is to eradicate the backwardness of Wayanad district through our champion students, utilizing the most suitable eco friendly atmosphere here, in hands with  IHRD institutions and in collaboration with various industrial  institutions and agencies both in government and private sector.

Vision

Wayanad is known for scenic beauty, but is backward in social, economical and educational fields.

Model College Meenangadi started in the year 2010 with a vision to provide good quality education to the youth especially in the backward classes of this District.   The courses offered here are computer and IT related which provides greater opportunities in the employment sector. Now a days one of the major problem facing by the Higher education sector is the lack of skill of students who are completing graduation. In order to tackle this issue  herespecific emphasis is given to practical classes and skill training apart from the usual curriculum. Special training is provided to the students to develop communication skills, leadership skills and  the skills for tests & interviews
